The last thing I did during my 11 years at Nike was research, curate, and write, in collaboration with the late Geoff Hollister and the Nike Archive, a comprehensive book, called “26 Degrees: The History of the Nike Windrunner”.
26° is a reference to the angle of the iconic chevron yoke. It documents the inspiration and creation of the legendary jacket, and included a complete cataloging of every Windrunner model and colorway made from 1982-1988.
The cover came in 4 different cover colorways—the same 4 colors the original model came in.
